Introducing the Dantes.io Blog

February 17, 2026β€’4 min read

We built Dantes.io because finding high-quality learning resources shouldn't feel like searching for a needle in a haystack. Over the past months, we've curated thousands of resources across dozens of fields β€” from cybersecurity to philosophy, from data science to photography.

But curation is only part of the equation. Knowing what to learn is just as important as knowing where to learn it.

That's why we're launching this blog.

What to Expect

We're preparing several types of articles, each designed to add a layer of depth that a resource catalog alone can't provide.

Learning Roadmaps

Step-by-step guides that map out a realistic path from beginner to proficient in a given field. No fluff, no generic advice β€” concrete sequences of resources, milestones to aim for, and common pitfalls to avoid.

We already have roadmaps in the works for fields like data analysis, web development, and creative writing.

Resource Deep-Dives

Honest, in-depth reviews of specific courses, books, and platforms. We'll go beyond star ratings to explain who a resource is best suited for, what prerequisites it assumes, and how it compares to alternatives.

Research-Backed Learning Strategies

Articles grounded in cognitive science and educational research. Topics like spaced repetition, active recall, interleaving, and how to structure study sessions β€” translated into practical advice you can actually use.

Interviews & Perspectives

Conversations with self-taught professionals, educators, and lifelong learners. How did they navigate their learning journeys? What resources shaped them? What would they do differently?

Field Guides

Curated overviews of entire disciplines. If you're curious about a field but don't know where to start β€” whether it's machine learning, music production, or economics β€” these guides will give you the lay of the land before you commit.

Why a Blog?

Dantes.io is, at its core, a tool. You search for a topic, you find resources, you start learning. That works well when you already know what you're looking for.

But many learners face a different problem: they don't know what they don't know. They pick a random course, get lost halfway through, and wonder if they chose the wrong one. They study for weeks without a clear sense of progress.

A catalog of resources can't solve that. Context can. And that's what we want this blog to provide β€” the context that turns a list of resources into a learning plan.

What's Coming First

We have several articles in various stages of preparation:

  • A complete roadmap to becoming a data analyst β€” covering the skills, tools, and resources that actually matter in 2026
  • The science of learning β€” how memory works, and how to study in a way that respects it
  • A guide to learning photography with free resources β€” from composition fundamentals to post-processing

These will roll out over the coming weeks.

Stay in the Loop

If this sounds useful, the best way to stay updated is through our newsletter. We'll send a short email when new articles go live β€” no spam, no filler.

You can also keep exploring our resource catalog in the meantime. Every topic page is a starting point, and with over 2,000 curated topics, there's a good chance we've already covered what you're looking for.

This is just the beginning. We're building Dantes.io for people who take learning seriously β€” and this blog is the next step in that mission.
